About Eva
When I was 7 years old I got my first film camera and I am following family tradition of my grandfather and father.
If I could, I would be making photos 24/7. I had to make a deal with my husband that I am not allowed to bring my DSLR cameras and lenses to any private events, we go to as I was just seeing the MUST CAPTURED MOMENTS everywhere.
I come from Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia), my husband Pierre is German and we are proud parents of two beautiful children Franka (7 years) and Henrik aka Henni (5 years). We have a dog (Labrador Retriever) named Pete.
In 2011 I graduated at the New York Institute of Photography.

Next to my passion for photography, I love meeting new people, reading, traveling, hiking, camping, skiing, swimming, cycling, running and all kind of sports.

Two of my life mottos:
"Either do it properly and give your 100% or don't do it at all."
"Enjoy every moment in your life."

Portraits

During the portraiture photo session, in studio or on location or at your home, I like your valuable time to be spent as fun and family/couple bounding, listening to your favorite music.

My goal is always to capture the personality of each of my client and  "JUST BE YOURSELF". In my eyes, everybody is beautiful. Key for excellent portraiture is the proper posing, lighting and clothing.
I let the the kids to play around, jump and dance and if they have enough I let them to take a break and play with  the toys or run around.
Before each photo session, I would like to find out more about you and your family - age of kids, interests, favorite colors. I want to make sure that I have right props and color ready when we meet for the photo session.
During the sessions I always do traditional and formal poses at first and then I let the fantasy play.
Please read the Frennet Studio's Tips and my recommendations for portraits.
Light
In studio I am working with strobe and continuous light (softboxes and umbrellas), gels, colorful lights. On location I am using available light, reflector and flash.
Weddings and Events
For wedding and events coverage I like to scout the location 24 hours before at the exact time as the wedding or event is happing to see the light conditions.
I have portable strobe and lights, backdrops, 4x6" printer, CD burner and projector and screen. I love to display some photos from the wedding day or event before the end of the wedding or event. In my opinion is a very nice touch to end the beautiful day. Mostly I need approximately 20-30 minutes to develop photos and set laptop, screen and projector.
Please read the Frennet Studio's Tips for weddings.
Developing Your Photos
I am shooting in RAW format and all your photos are digitally developed. I would compare it to the film developing, just with the difference that nowadays are photos developed in the digital darkroom. Depending on season, your photos should be ready within 10 working days.
~ Please read the Frennet Studio's Tips for photo printing.
Post Session Presentation
Approximately two weeks after the session I would love to meet you for the post session presentation, where I would like to present you all your photos on the big screen via projector and show you some of my photo products and give you some other ideas how to use your photos.
Style
I am a traditionalist and try to avoid manipulating the photos with my graphic software. I have two or three special graphic effects that I use and I love to create the collages.
My style I would range somewhere between traditional, photojournalistic and fine art/artistic.
